Path_finder

NetExplorer.views.pages.path_finder.path_finder(request)

View for the Pathway Finder. Returns a list called “graphelements”. This is a list of tuples, with the first element of the tuple being the JSON of the graph to be used by cytoscape.js, and the second element being the score assigned to the given pathway.

Accepts:

• GET

Parameters

• start (str) – Start node symbol.

• end (str) – End node symbol.

• database (str) – Database to search.

• plen (int) – Path length of the requested pathways.

• page (int) – Page number for paginator.

Response:

• database (str): Database searched.

• snode (str): Start node symbol

• enode (str): End node symbol

• plen (int): Path length of searched pathways.

• databases (list of Dataset): List of allowed Datasets for user.

• numpath (int): Number of results.

• noresults (bool): True if no results. False otherwise.

• graphs_for_page (list of tuple): Pathway results for a given page.

  First element of tuple is GraphCytoscape, second is score (float).
